Join us for any or all of these special programs in celebration of Israel@75
Led by Ortal Zinger, Howard County’s Shlicha (emissary) from Israel, each evening will feature interesting learning, opportunities for questions and discussion, and Israeli snacks.

April 26, 7pm “Looking back and Looking Ahead: 75 Years of Independence.”
A special evening of learning celebrating 75 years of Israel. Explore Israel’s Declaration of Independence and learn from Ortal about the mindset of today’s Israelis. 

May 10, 7pm – Ancient Land: Archeology in Israel
Learn about some of the many archeological sites in Israel and what they teach us about ancient life in the Land of Israel.

June 14, 7pm – Modern Land: Startup Nation
Learn about some of the many scientific innovations and inventions in the fields of agriculture, medicine, and more, that have come out of Israel.

June 28, 7pm – Women in Israel
Learn about the roles, contributions, and challenges of Israeli women.
